St. Petersburg, FL – Trenam Law is pleased to announce attorney Patrick M. Causey has been appointed to the board of directors of The Kind Mouse. The organization is based on St. Petersburg, Florida.
The Kind Mouse is a non-profit organization that helps individuals and their families who have experienced career loss and to restore their dignity and reestablish their lives. According to their mission, no hardworking individual should ever feel despair due to economic hardships beyond their control and no one should ever go hungry.
Causey is a civil trial lawyer. He represents clients in a variety of commercial matters including franchise disputes, non-competition and confidentiality agreements, breach of contract, class actions, fraud, commercial torts, and trade secrets litigation. Causey also dedicates a significant portion of his practice to defending lawyers in legal malpractice cases. Additionally, Causey has experience assisting clients obtain and protect intellectual property rights in Federal Court and in front of the United States Trademark and Patent Office, with a particular emphasis on trademarks.
Causey received a J.D., with honors, from Stetson University College of Law and a B.A., with honors, from University of North Florida. He is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed as a Rising Star in Florida Super Lawyers.
