Trenam Law is pleased to announce attorney Patrick M. Causey received an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell. Causey is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and resides in the firm’s St. Petersburg office.

Causey is a civil trial lawyer. He represents clients in a variety of commercial matters including franchise disputes, non-competition and confidentiality agreements, breach of contract, class actions, fraud, commercial torts, and trade secrets litigation. Causey also dedicates a significant portion of his practice to defending lawyers in legal malpractice cases. Additionally, Causey has experience assisting clients obtain and protect intellectual property rights in Federal Court and in front of the United States Trademark and Patent Office, with a particular emphasis on trademarks.Causey received a J.D., with honors, from Stetson University College of Law and a B.A., with honors, from University of North Florida. He is listed as a Rising Start in Florida Super Lawyers, 2015- 2016.
