Just days after officially beginning work at Trenam Law, Katherine O’Donniley joined Marie Tomassi for a May 10, 2017 Tampa Bay Business Journal article discussing her arrival at the firm and next steps serving Tampa. In discussing the strategy in bringing O’Donniley to the firm’s Real Estate and Lending Transactions practice group, Tomassi noted the need throughout the Tampa area for land use attorneys as experienced at O’Donniley in navigating the intricacies of the local market. “You really do need people on the ground who are practiced and experienced in your location,” she added.
Joining as Senior Counsel, O’Donniley’s practice focuses on land use, local government and regulatory practice. She also specializes in alcoholic beverages licensing, which Tomassi notes will tie into the firm’s Hospitality Industry Group. “It’s a great tie-in to land use, particularly in the Tampa region, because we have some unique local regulations in that space,” O’Donniley said.
