TAMPA, FL – Trenam Law is pleased to announce that Maja Lacevic has been named Program Chair for USF’s Women In Leadership & Philanthropy (WLP) Fall Symposium 2018. Lacevic has served on the program committee for the past two years. The WLP Fall Symposium will take place on October 19, 2018 at the Hilton Tampa Downtown.
The mission of the USF System Women in Leadership & Philanthropy program is to engage and educate visionary leaders and philanthropists to make a difference for women throughout the USF System and the community. Throughout the past decade, WLP has awarded over $1 million in scholarships, devoted mentoring hours to over 430 students, and has provided research awards to 23 female faculty members. The 2017 Fall Symposium was attended by over 900 and raised more than $200,000.
Lacevic, who is certified in Health Care Compliance by the Compliance Certification Board, focuses her practice on a broad range of health care and transaction-based services, including mergers and acquisitions, and a variety of corporate and health law matters. She is the current Treasurer of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Lacevic is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and listed in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Up & Comer. She was recognized by Tampa Bay Business Journal as an Up & Comer under 30.
Lacevic received a J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law, and B.A. from University of South Florida.
