Trenam Law is pleased to announce that Maja Lacevic has been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as a 2016 Up & Comer. Lacevic is one of just seventeen local leaders in the “Under 30” category selected by an independent panel of judges. The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2016 Up & Comers Awards celebrate the region’s next generation of leaders and innovators with Under 30 and Under 40 categories. All honorees were recognized at the 2016 Up & Comer Awards on October 13 at the Hard Rock Café at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
Lacevic focuses her practice on a broad range of health care and transaction-based services, including counseling clients on health care transactions, HIPAA and licensure issues, confidentiality and information sharing, risk management, fraud and abuse prevention and hospital staff privilege matters.
Lacevic was previously recognized as a candidate for Champion of the Year for her work with Best Buddies Tampa Bay. She is currently a member of the University of South Florida’s Women in Leadership and Philanthropy. She is also a past member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Leadership Institute Class of 2013-2014 and Tampa Connection’s Class of 2016.
Lacevic is also active with a number of prestigious professional organizations. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives in the Western Florida Chapter as well as the C.H. Ferguson M.E. White American Inn of the Court. With the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Lacevic is active with the Young Lawyer Division where she serves on the board of directors and as liaison to the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation. She also served as the Law Week Committee Chair for the Hillsborough County Bar Association in 2015.

Lacevic earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and her law degree from the Florida Coastal School of Law.
