In a September 30, 2022 article in the Daily Business Review exploring the impact of Hurricane Ian on firms in the southern part of Florida, Marie Tomassi weighed in with an update on the firm’s activity and message of sympathy for firms facing greater impact.
Tomassi said Trenam was able to avoid significant damage as Hurricane Ian veered off its Tampa Bay trajectory and that the firm’s attorneys were able to return to its offices in St. Petersburg and Tampa by the morning of September 30. “Unfortunately, that is at the expense of our friends and families and those citizens of Florida to our South,” she said. “The bad thing about a hurricane is you really can’t wish it away without impacting someone else.”
