Trenam Law is pleased to announce that two associates have joined the firm. Taylor Russo Hess and Michael B. Schwartz will practice in the Private Client Services Group.
Taylor has experience in various probate and trust related matters, including providing guidance on and preparing gift tax returns and estate tax returns and representing fiduciaries in their roles as trustees and personal representatives. In her estate planning practice, Taylor provides assistance to clients in the preparation of essential estate planning documents and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements in addition to advising clients on relevant tax related issues. Taylor also assists individuals and businesses in a broad range of corporate matters, including entity selection and formation, business succession planning, sale, merger, and acquisition transactions and the preparation, review and negotiation of business contracts, shareholder agreements, partnership agreements and operating agreements. Prior to joining the firm, Taylor was with Macfarlane, Ferguson & McMullen. She is based in Trenam’s Tampa office.
Mike’s practice includes wealth planning and preservation, estate and tax planning, wills and trusts, probate and trust administration, and business transactions. Mike was a trial lawyer at Banker Lopez Gessler, P.A. from 2013-2015. In 2015 he went on to University of Florida Levin College of Law to earn his LL.M. degree in taxation, which he completed in May 2016. He is based in Trenam’s Tampa office.
