TAMPA, FL – Trenam Law is pleased to announce that shareholder Alicia H. Koepke has been appointed co-practice group leader of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group.
Koepke is an experienced trial attorney who focuses her practice on employment and business law and related litigation. In addition to representing clients in government agency investigations, arbitration and lawsuits, Koepke regularly counsels companies of all sizes on business and employee management issues, including protecting confidential information; preparing and enforcing restrictive covenant and other employment agreements; preparing and implementing workplace policies; obtaining background checks and drug testing; complying with wage-and-hour obligations; making accommodations; avoiding and responding to complaints of unlawful conduct; implementing terminations and layoffs; and assessing other rights and responsibilities of companies, officers, directors, supervisors, employees and applicants.
Koepke is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and is recognized as a Tampa Magazine’s 2018 Top Lawyer, Florida Trend Legal Elite Up and Comer, and Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star. In addition to her involvement in the legal community, Koepke serves on The University of Tampa’s Board of Fellows and A Brighter Community, Inc.’s Advisory Board.
