TAMPA, FL – Trenam Law is pleased to announce that Stephanie C. Lieb has achieved board certification from the American Board of Certification (ABC) in the area of Business Bankruptcy Law. This certification is also recognized by The Florida Bar. Certification means that Lieb has met rigorous standards relating to experience, continuing legal education, integrity, and peer review, in addition to demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of the law in their specialty area. Only seven percent of Florida Bar attorneys are board certified.
Lieb, a shareholder in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Creditors’ Rights and Insolvency Practice Group, represents businesses and financial institutions in matters related to bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and insolvency. She represents creditors in commercial foreclosures of real and personal property, loan workouts and restructuring, and defending lender liability counterclaims, as well as in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, including stay relief, post-petition financing, dismissal, and sales of assets.
Lieb currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Hillsborough County Bar Foundation, and is a past member of the Board of Trustees for the Academy of Holy Names. She is an active member of The Florida Bar Business Law Section where she currently serves as Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee.
Lieb received a J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University School of Law and undergraduate degree from Tulane University.
