In an article published in the Daily Business Review, Managing Partner and President Marie Tomassi is quoted discussing Trenam Law’s growth in Tampa and St. Petersburg with the addition of nine attorneys in thriving practice areas, including real estate and business transactions.
“In business transactions, we have been extremely busy all through this year, and I think that’s probably because it was a COVID year,” Tomassi says. “I think clients growing and looking for things to do while they might not have been able to do some other parts of their business has maybe generated more work.”
Tomassi further explains that in response to growing legal demand, the firm will look to hire additional qualified attorneys in Florida this year who fit its collaborative culture.
“We have been able to find some excellent candidates, but I would say the market is more competitive,” she says. “Some of the people that we have brought in have come from out of state. I think that the lure of Florida got them into our neighborhood, but certainly other firms were available to them as well.”
