Tampa, Fla., March 5, 2019 – Trenam Law is pleased to announce that Aaron Reichelson has been appointed to a the national steering committee for the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Fifth Division of the Forum on Construction Law. The Forum on Construction Law serves the construction industry through education and leadership and is comprised of the nation’s top attorneys representing all segments of the construction industry. The Fifth Division, which Reichelson will help lead, is comprised of 323 attorneys and focuses on legal issues encountered by general contractors and providing practical advice on managing construction risks.
Reichelson is a member of Trenam’s Construction and Commercial Litigation practice groups. He advises clients and fellow attorneys on dispute resolution and other private and federal construction matters, including contract reviews, design and construction defect litigation, mediations and whistle-blower cases at the federal and state levels.
Prior to beginning his legal career with Trenam, Reichelson spent 15 years working in the construction industry, including 13 years as a construction manager and project engineer managing claims for Kiewit Infrastructure South Co. He also worked for two years as a consulting engineer on scheduling and dispute resolution matters for some of the industry’s largest contractors. Additionally, Reichelson participated in and received training as a neutral from the Dispute Resolution Foundation. He is a member of the Dispute Review Board Foundation and the Florida Transportation Builder’s Association.
By accepting this appointment, Reichelson joins the company of Trenam colleagues John Vento and Patrick Poff as leaders within the ABA’s Forum on Construction Law, with both having served on the Governing Committee for the Forum in addition to various Division and committee roles.
Reichelson received a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, and his undergraduate degree from McGill University.
