August 1, 2017 – TAMPA, FL – Trenam Law is pleased to announce that Eric S. Koenig has achieved board certification in business litigation from The Florida Bar. Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the area of law approved for certification. The attorney must have five years in law practice experience, must show involvement in the field of law for which certification is sought, receive a passing grade on the required examination, and must satisfy a peer review assessment of their competence in the specialty field plus character, ethics and professionalism in the practice of law.
Koenig is a Shareholder in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and serves as a counselor and advisor to business owners and executives, helping them navigate and resolve complex legal matters and disputes. His practice includes complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, landlord/tenant litigation, and employment litigation in state and federal courts throughout the entire state of Florida.
Koenig received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law and an M.S. and B.S. from Radford University. Koenig previously served in the United States Marine Corps and is a former police officer.
In his free time, Koenig competes in professional barbeque competitions under the name Habeas Porkus and is an accomplished beer brewmaster.
