Trenam Kemker is pleased to announce that firm president and founding member, Harold “Hal” Mullis, was recognized by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce with the 2013 H.L. Culbreath Jr. Profile in Leadership Award at the Chamber’s 128th Annual Meeting at the Tampa Convention Center on Dec. 19, 2013. Established in 1997 by Leadership Tampa Alumni, this award is presented annually to an individual whose leadership has made a positive impact within the greater Tampa community.
“Hal sets a higher standard of excellence for any organization with which he works” said J. Eric (“Tate”) Taylor, chair of the Executive Board of Trenam Kemker. “His selfless dedication to clients and their business and legal interests has established him as a proven leader within our firm, the legal profession and the Tampa community.”
Mullis also lends his leadership to numerous organizations around the Tampa Bay community. He currently serves as the vice chair for the University of South Florida’s board of trustees. He was previously the chairman of the board for Tampa General Hospital and Berkeley Preparatory School and a member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s board of governors.
Mullis earned his undergraduate degree from Emory University and his law degree from the University of Virginia.
