Of course, there are a number of business and regulatory issues to consider, and providers must ensure they have the internal and external capabilities, support and expertise to fully implement and participate in population health management. The team should include a robust compliance program guided by trusted external advisors, including a legal team to ensure that the organization’s day-to-day operations comply with both state and federal regulatory requirements.
