Trenam Kemker lawyers and staff recently traded in the law books for trash bags by taking part in a coastal clean up with Tampa Bay Watch. More than 50 employees of the firm spent a recent Saturday picking up trash alongside the roads, and mangroves of Tierra Verde.
Tampa Bay Watch is dedicated exclusively to the protection and restoration of the marine and wetland environments of the Tampa Bay estuary through scientific and educational programs. They said that the Trenam Kemker team provided one of their most productive clean ups in terms of how much trash was picked up.
The volunteer day complements Trenam Kemker’s long-standing commitment to community service. “Community service and support have been core values since our founding in 1970”, said Harold W. Mullis, President of Trenam Kemker.
